Introduction

Dr. Salma Hameed is working as Assistant Professor Environmental Sciences department at University of Jhang. She has completed her PhD from University of the Punjab in Collaboration with University College London (UCL), England, UK. She has worked as HSE Manager at Wajid Chemicals Lahore, developed the Environmental Management System (EMS) of several multinational companies. Earlier she has been associated with EPD, Lahore, GCUF, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Superior College Jhang. She has worked as Lead Environmental expert and validated health & Safety measures in various projects on National level. She has published high index impact factor research papers in HEC recognized national and international journals. She has attended numerous research trainings, workshops, and seminars, national and international conferences as well. She has supervised the graduates and masters students in different fields of research. Her research areas are; infectious diseases e.g. Tuberculosis, COVID-19, FAFLP-PCR, Integrated management system for the better environment, Waste water treatment, Recycling of Industrial waste, Bio-remediation, Energy materials, etc.
