Dr. Hassan Bashir

Assistant Professor

Introduction

Dr. Hassan Bashir is an Assistant Professor at Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Jhang. He received his PhD degree in Environment Science and Engineering from College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Hunan University Changsha P.R. China. During PhD's study, He focus on the synthesis of nanomaterials for the application of photocatalysis. His research interests focus on new materials of wastewater treatment including nanoparticle growth techniques (nanorods, nanotubes, nanowires, quantum dots), TiO2 nanotube arrays growth by anodization method, heterostructure photocatalyst, nanomaterial characterization techniques, design and application of nanomaterials for the treatment of organic pollutants in wastewater, organic semiconductors and nanostructures, with the goal to achieve practical applications in the areas of public safety, renewable energy and environmental protection. He has published several research articles and review articles in peer reviewed international scientific journals. He previously worked in different national and international funded research projects in Pakistan as well in China. In future, he will further develop advanced environmental materials for the clean and green environment.
