Introduction
Dr. Muhammad Farrukh Tahir is an Assistant Professor Biochemistry Department at University
of Jhang, Jhang. He obtained his Ph.D degree from Govt. College University, Faisalabad in 2020
with research topic: “Design, development and evaluation of nanoformulations on green matrix for
sustained drug release in cancer therapy”. His academic profile consists of more than ten
publications and a Book/book chapter publication in a renowned national and
international journals. He hold expertise in plant biochemistry, toxicology,
cytotoxicity, pharmacology and clinical biochemistry. Additionally, he possesses exemplary
skills in biological & comparative research as well as encompass a strong teaching philosophy
and knowledge of various/different approaches, which can motivate students to develop their
professional knowledge in a particular field.
His professional career starts with PEPSI cola beverages pvt., where he worked as quality
controller from 2012 to 2014. After that, he worked as lecture in Modern Institute of
Technology, Faisalabad and as visiting lecturer in department of biochemistry, Govt. College
University, Faisalabad. He also served as lecturer in Faisal institute of allied health
sciences, Faisalabad and as research assistant in HEC awarded project . In his teaching duration
he taught various advance courses i.e fundamentals of biochemistry, applied biochemistry,
forensic biochemistry, gene expression and manipulation and biochemistry of drugs.
He has not only worked as a lecturer in well-known institutions, but is also active in the
administrative services of relevant departments and national and international conference
systems. He has participated in different national and international symposiums, research
conferences, academic conferences and workshops/hands on trainings, mainly in the field of
biochemistry, cancer, nanomedicine, nanotechnology, drug development, drug interactions and
advance trends & innovations in nanotechnology.
He is also a member of International Association of Oncology (IAO).
